1. About ExamPilot
ExamPilot ("we", "us") provides AI-assisted revision tools for students. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms.
2. Your account
You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 in the EU/UK without parental consent). You are responsible for keeping your credentials safe and for activity on your account.
3. Acceptable use
Don't upload content you don't have rights to, attempt to break the service, scrape it, resell access, or use it to cheat on supervised assessments.
4. Subscriptions & payment
Paid plans are billed monthly. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime in Account → Billing. See our refund policy.
4a. Payment processing
Payments for paid ExamPilot subscriptions are processed securely by Stripe. ExamPilot does not store full payment card details. Stripe processes payment information in accordance with its own privacy and security policies. To manage your subscription, update your card or cancel, use the "Manage billing" link in Account → Billing, which opens the secure Stripe billing portal. For billing questions or refund requests, email support@exampilot.app.
5. AI output and educational disclaimer
ExamPilot is an independent revision and educational support platform. AI-generated summaries, flashcards, quizzes, model answers, explanations, practice scores and progress indicators are intended for study assistance only and may contain errors. Always verify important facts against your own materials.
Any scores, verdicts (such as "correct", "mostly correct" or "needs review"), revision progress figures and topic suggestions relate only to the practice activity you carry out inside ExamPilot. They are informal study aids. ExamPilot does not award qualifications or official academic grades, does not carry out official academic assessment, and does not make admissions, employment, eligibility or other consequential decisions about you or any other individual. Our AI features do not evaluate your academic ability as a person, and their output must not be used by you or anyone else as a basis for such decisions.
Study recommendations are optional suggestions. You remain responsible for deciding how you revise and how you use anything the platform suggests.
6. Your content
You keep ownership of notes you upload. You grant us a limited licence to process them so we can generate study material for you. We do not use your content to train AI models.
7. Termination
You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend access for breach of these terms.
8. Liability
The service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim is limited to fees you paid in the prior 12 months.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced by email or in-app.
10. Contact
Questions? Email support@exampilot.app. Billing questions can also be handled through the billing portal in Account → Billing.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
